Phuket Half Day Tour

Arrived at Phuket like 10am, so early that I wasn't even able to capture the island from a far like how I did yesterday with Penang.

Taxis (touts! in my opinion) as well as tour buses already waiting for us beneath, with stalls preparing to open soon selling souvinirs.

Some people like my colleague, took the bus tour to Patong Beach. Ended up messaging at the seaside, and shop where all the tourist shops.

The bunch of people that went Penang yesterday with me, we went to Phuket town again. Paid like RM120 for a mere 15min return trip. Should have walk further ahead pass the guard house, there were like a huge bunch of tuk-tuks, van, and taxis waiting outside there. That would've have been much cheaper.

But that is okay, we quickly got chaffeured to town and since most thing not opened, we took a 2 hour massage with at this nice place, Leela Massage. Very near to Phuket Shopping Center. After that we charged to Phuket Shopping Center and load ourselved with the Wacoal bra. Kakakaka...

And ended our nice adventure with a Thai lunch nearby the shopping place. Ahhh~~~

Upon returning to the port, all the stalls were busy with people, and I quickly bought myself 2 coconut to quench the thirst from today's hot weather.

Penang Half Day Crash Touring!

Arrived Penang like 12pm. Took some nice pictures from the open deck. It is interesting to view Penang from a different point, far away from the sea.

Can spot the Penang bridge and the old faithful Penang Ferry from afar as well!

Viewing the Komtar from the boat is just as interesting!

While all the foreigners that joined the tour got whisked into the bus, me and four other friends decided to find our own way in Penang.

Had these cutie cuties small boat that ferried us from the ship to the pier. SSV can't dock near the port probably because water there is too shallow

In my opinion, the SSV look such majestic from afar. What say you?

Quickly went to Pelangi mall (next to Komtar) and load ourselves with some reading materials (so we don't go crazy being lock on board pro-longed), some when to do banking to get more money for shopping later.

Then we went around Pulau Tikus to eat Char Koay Teow, and of course, my favorite Apam Balik, or Mang Chang Kueh. Yum....

Sleepless night and Sleepy nights!

First, it was the movements of the ship that got me awake all night long on the first night here. After that, as I have got used to the ship's vibration, this movements consistently cradle me off to dreamland. So much so even my colleagues teased me wasting my goodtime here on the cruise, in a bed. Heh

Sunrise on open deck @ Superstar Virgo

We stayed on board for 4 days, but only the 2nd day, me alone from the whole group manage to catch a glimpse on the beautiful sun rise. Dusk annouced its arrival with a glim lighting from the far east side of the horizon.

There were already people getting ready for the sun rise, grabbing their seats.

It is the first time for me to witness a complete, beautiful sunrise with slight hindrance from the clouds dotting the skyline, erm minus the need to climb hills and cliffs to get to the higher point of course. The clouds actually add on the beauty of this whole sunrise thingy.

Even the sky turned slight pinky reflecting the sunray.

There are people that hang around at the Indoor Viewing Area with light breakfast available.

For the next few days, no one really get to see this sunrise as it was very rainy throughout the nights and early morning as well.

And of course, if everything fails to attract your attention, you can always lean back on the regular supply of good food on board the Superstar Virgo.

Everyday also eating eating eating... with western food, chinese food, BBQ ala Medditeranean Style...

Eating them at various restaurants as well... some you have to pay, some you eat all you can, doesn't matter how many rounds you want.

Fancy cocktail nights too, that got everyone dressing up like serious prom night, but where's the party after that?!
