Petaling Street Raid

Went to Petaling Street today, actually was just wanting to get my eye brows trimmed at a beautician in Kotaraya. But my friend and I ended up shopping around Petaling Street since we wanted to have a drink around there. You know, the famous Loh Horn Kor drink at the cross junction. While we were walking back to Sin Mah shopping archade, there was a sudden hush hush around at the road side stalls. Apparently DBKL has come to raid the illegal CD stalls that were operation at the road side again. My my, it was quite a scene. I would certainly say they were swift in their action and they know exactly what they are doing, where to dring their stuffs to as well. The foreigner tourist were seen quite amazed seeing these people suddenly packing, when they were just about to buy something.

Just got back from JB today. A rather rush effort to escape SARS (Severe Accute Respiratory Syndrome), I felt. But anyway, stopped by at Muar bought the famous Otak-otak. Yummy! Now feel very groggy and tire, hoping to have a good sleep. But I don't think so, tomorrow is Ching Beng prayers and I shall have to wake up at 5 in the morning to reach the cemetery before Sun Rise. Sigh...

In Malacca now. Stayed in Mahkota Century yesterday, only with much disappoinment. With beautiful landscape we thought we are cool with a room rate of RM178. Later we discover the room is very dirty, and old, worn, even the pillow case was stained with lipstick! Therefore we have moved in today to City Bayview hotel, paying on RM145 only. However, we were glad with move. The room is much cleaner and newer, Phew

Went to the Malaysia Philharmonic Orchestra yesterday. Carl Davis has conducted a soundtrack playing, on Charlie Chaplin's The Gold Rush. It was the first time MPO conducts such kind of performance, and not very often that we actually heart hearty laugh in the middle of music playing. The Gold Rush is a very very old show, but the hilarious content was nonetheless very appealing. Hope the MPO will run more soundtrack performance like this!

Anyway, I finally decided to keep Jewel, the new Doberman pinscher with me. She has fully adapted to her new home, and enjoy running and playing.

Jewel the Dobberman just came to my house yesterday. It was a gift from a close friend. Oh my god, she is just so beautiful, with a droping year, a pointed tail, black shinning coat. But she was quite terrified staying at my place for the first night yesterday. However she has been quiet and didn't make a noise. What more can I ask from a dog that is so friendly and obedient.

Yawn, still awake at this moment. Finally managed to reply all the long due emails, updating my blog, as well as check out Lelong (http://auc.buysell.com.my) to see if there is cheap selling of my Ixus V3.


Recently I am having strange wanting again, I thought of ditching my slow Ericsson T39 and replaced it with a Nokia 8250. I once sworn I will never use a nokia again when my 3250 was giving me hell, but heck, after seeing my brother bought the 8250 and have a faster response with the SMS writing, I thought I wanna join the dark side again. Hehe...

Went to watch Disney's Treasure Planet yesterday night with friends. Not a bad animation after all, but I feel I love the animation made by Pixar more these days. Eg Monsters Inc and Bugs Life. Find them much more funny and more entertaining. ^_^

Starwing actually took effort to remind me that I have not been blogging recently. Thanx bro. I was rather busy especially during CNY. A friend came down from HK so have to bring him around as well. Fortunately things is over, but then I was dragged to Penang for training the past few days.

Feel very pissed off with my boss's attitute. Consequently showing off my sour face throughout the meeting. Then I realised it was very wrong of me, as my engineer pointed out I should not have done so. After all my boss is still paying my salary and I should be more grateful. I feel it is my mistake this time. Must be more careful.

It is a rainy day this morning. Everything seemed so blue suddenly. Don't frame me, I am not having PMS Okay? It is just that I find myself stranded in choices of career again. I am going to have an interview this Saturday, and most probably I will get the job (Damn confident). That is provided they are giving me the $$ that I am asking for. Then I had a cold war with my friend, he thinks I am switching job because I want to runaway from the current problem in my job.
So I think, maybe that is correct, as my boss just barked at me this morning again. Unconstructive yet misleading comments that I feel more and more tire as I listen them everytime. :o(

Yawn... finally managed to re-vamp the page, uptil to a certain standard that I am satisfy.

Sniff, felt a little blue since Sunday Morning. Wonder why would he want to tell me such hard cold truth. Is that a way to test my patience, or to test my limit? Why would he hurt me, when he asked to be given a chance again?

I miss him dearly though. :o(

ARG! There is a cockroach walking around at my working desk just now. I lifted up one pile of paper found it wriggling its pair of tenticles, as if saying hello to me. Had my colleague to chase it away with newspaper. Then saw it walking next to me few minutes later again. So I had to chase it away myself... think it found a new home under another pile of papers underneath my desk now.

1 hour later...
It decided to take fresh air on the floor again, I saw it and screamed so loud. So my colleague (hero of the day), step on the Siew Keong at the right timing! Viola, end of a pitiful life of this bug... RIP

Was suppose to meet him tonite, after 1 and half month. Unfortunately he has many to do at work having just return from a long leave. Hope I can see him soon, it is easier to talk things out face to face, I guess.

My boss seem to be extra-annoying today. He is talking about his marketing plan for year 2003 which me thinks will never turn into reality because he cannot give precise directional order. It is the third time he asked about a customer problem, that he said he will attend to himself previously. Everytime when he start going beserk like this, just make me wanting to switch job more. But when he forgotten about this, I as well forgotten the fact I want to switch job. :�

He just came back from Mauritius, and SMS me today. Am thinking of him from time to time. He says he would like to try again, but I am not so sure if I can't take another heartbreak.

Yawn... still struggling to produce the best template I want... seems to take forever
