It was a last minute decision to see the water puppet performance even though we know we will see it one of these nights in Hanoi . Fortunately we managed to get from "EXTRA" seats ticket (20,000VND) as the normal ones have been sold of long ago.
Extra seat, which literally translate as placing foldable chairs on the staircase. Haha...
My camera is not that great for indoor pictures. So not much pics here. But the main thing about this water puppet performance is that the puppeteer masters stand on water behind the screen, orchestra puppets movement through underwater mechanism. Quite a unique thing.
After the show, we decide to do more shopping, but only to find that the traffic around Hoan Kiem Lake tonight has gone insane! Thousands of motorbikes flooded the road, creating a jam literally. Apparently the vietnamese is celebrating Mooncake festival (also known as Mid Autumn Fest) by coming out on the street, going to nearby night market at Hang Bac.
