The species of plant available in the Royal Botanical garden, does very little in resembling the flora of Tasmania. Trees with falled leaves during winter, that is really not originally from Tasmania itself.
In fact the whole island has way too many introduced plants and animals, which in turn does great amount of harm to the ingineous species around.
There is a japanese garden around. Mark and I s ed when we saw it. The whole place look very run down. I am glad the whole Garden was free else I would really gripe about this terrible place.
